• Provided that under any scheme for promoting generation from renewable source is made through generation from off-grid renewable generation in the state, the same may be accounted for RPO of the distribution licensee, if Commission so permits.
• Compliance (FY 2015-16) - 203.50%

• Distribution licensees, consumers owning captive power plants, and open access consumers in the state. 

• Own generation or procurement of power from RE developer or purchase from other licensee or purchase of renewable energy certificates or combination of any of the given options.

• Certificates shall be the valid instruments for the discharge of mandatory obligations set out in these regulations for the obligated entities to purchase electricity from renewable energy sources.
• Obligations to purchase solar and non-solar energy can be fulfilled only by purchase of solar and non-solar certificates, respectively.
• Certificates purchased by obligated entities shall be deposited with the Commission as per procedure issued by the state agency, on the lines of centralagency____.
