The ‘All About Renewables’ portal is an initiative by Shakti Sustainable Energy Foundation (SSEF), New Delhi; World Institute of Sustainable Energy (WISE), Pune; and the Indian Renewable Energy Federation (IREF), New Delhi. The sole purpose of the portal is to provide up-to-date information on one single platform, on developments taking place in the renewable energy sector (specifically renewable electricity) in India, including cross-linkages with the conventional sector, and seeks to create wider awareness amongst the public and relevant stakeholders, besides encouraging increased knowledge, understanding and interest in the sector. For the specific purpose of the user/reader, the data has been restructured and formatted in an easy-to-read, user-friendly manner.

Data available on the portal does not constitute professional advice or other professional financial guidance, and it should not be used as the only source of information when making purchasing decisions, investment decisions or tax decisions, or when executing other binding agreements. In some cases, data up to December-end 2016 only has been provided. These were due to limitations in sourcing current, validated data. Attempts will therefore be made to provide the users with latest and updated data to the best extent possible, taking into consideration limitations in availability of data.
