Bids for Wind (2018-19)

Tenders were called by the central agencies for inter-state transmission system connected wind projects. SECI awarded 4400 MW projects and NTPC awarded 1200 MW projects. Maximum tariff discovered for wind projects was Rs. 2.83/kWh and the minimum tariff discovered for wind projects was Rs. 2.51/kWh. The highest bid was discovered in NTPC tender and the lowest bid was discovered in SECI tender. Average tariff discovered in ISTS connected wind tenders is Rs. 2.71/kWh this is more or less central representation of wind tariff discovered.
