Description: December 7 (Renewables Now) - Karnataka Renewable Energy Development Ltd (KREDL) is seeking proposals for the construction of 50 MW of solar photovoltaic (PV) plants within the Pavagada solar complex. The overall capacity is divided into two blocks of 10 MW and two15-MW lots, KREDL announced on Wednesday in a notice inviting tender. The deadline for submitting bids is December 20. Technical proposals will be opened two days later, while financial bids will be reviewed afterwards. Winning bidders will be responsible for the engineering, procurement and construction of the grid-connected photovoltaic (PV) plants, as well as for their testing and commissioning. The provision of operation and maintenance (O&M) services is also included.
