Bids for Roof Top Solar (2018-19)

Grid connected roof top solar power projects have been awarded through tender in the states of Madhya Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh between April 2018 and February 2019. Highest bid was Rs. 3.99/kWh which was discovered in NREDCAP tender for 15 MW grid connected roof top solar PV systems for government buildings. The lowest bid was Rs. 1.38/kWh which was discovered in MPUVNL tender for CPSUs. Overall average tariff for all tenders was Rs. 2.15/kWh. But average tariff in Madhya Pradesh was Rs. 1.84/kWh which is almost 30 paise/kWh less than overall average tariff. Whereas average tariff in Andhra Pradesh was Rs. 3.82/kWh.
