ISTS Charges

No transmission charges and losses are imposed on power generated from solar and wind.

Terms and Conditions for ISTS Charges Waiver

Customer of ISTS service need not pay transmission charges and losses if they satisfy any of the following conditions:

1)Solar power plant should be commissioned between 1 July 2011 and 30 June 2017.

2)Solar and wind power generators whose:

i. Generation capacity was awarded during the competitive bidding process.

                    ii.        Commercial operation date for solar falls between 01 July 2017 and 12 February 2018 and for windfalls between 30 September 2016 and 12 February 2018.

                  iii.          PPA is signed for RPO compliance of DISCOM.

3)     Solar and wind generators whose:

                     i.          Capacity was awarded through competitive bidding under guidelines of central government.

                    ii.          Commercial operation date is between 13 February 2018 and 31 December 2022.

                  iii.          PPA signed for RPO compliance is with any obligated entity .

Rebate

1.5% rebate on payment of bill within a period of 5 days from issuance of bill.
