Eligibility Condition |

Capacity Target for Distribution Licensee | Available capacity should be specified by the Commission from time to time. |
Metering Arrangement | Net metering: Electricity bill must indicate banked power, electricity injected, electricity supplied and billing amount. Distribution licensee can levy additional charges other than energy charges with prior permission from the Commission. During settlement period, excess energy injected will be compensated according to APPC approved by the Commission. EXIM metering: Electricity consumed will be charged according to the tariff approved. Electricity injected is calculated according to APPC and deducted from the electricity bill. Excess electricity injected will not be accounted. |
RPO & REC | Electricity generated under EXIM metering will be accounted under consumer’s RPO while electricity generated under Net metering will be accounted under distribution licensee’s RPO. EXIM metering consumer shall be allowed to participate in REC mechanism. |
OTHER PROVISIONS |
Energy Accounting and Settlement |

Other Charges | Exempted from wheeling and cross subsidy surcharges. |
Connection Charges | All costs related to metering equipment are to be borne by the consumer who is availing of metering. |
