• Achieve target of 120 GW renewable project.
• Facilitation of 5 lakh acre land for power plant.
• Attracting investment in manufacturing plant in state and job creation.

• Solar Energy.
• Wind Energy.
• Wind –solar hybrid.

Power plant objective

• Inter-state power sale.
• Intra-state power sale banking of power not allowed and open access charges applicable.

Land lease period

30 years.

Land Aggregating Agency (LAA)

• Any Agency aggregating government or private land for renewable energy project.
• Land lease facilitation is done by nodal agency.
• LAA for acquiring government land must pay total lease amount to government treasury.
• LAA for private land will pay government Rs 6,000/acre/year with 5% escalation every 2 years.

Land allocation

• First come, first serve basis.
• Priority to developer setting manufacturing plant in A.P.

Charges and Fees

• Land lease charges: Paid by project developer to LAA. Rental charge is Rs 31,000/acre/year with 5% escalation every 2 years.
• Green Energy development charges: Rs 1,00,000/MW of installed capacity/year.
• LAA acquiring land from private land owner will pay Rs. 25,000/acre/year with 5% escalation every 2 years
• One-time payment includes Local area development fees (Rs. 50,000/acre), park development fees and application processing fees.
• No exemption on electricity duty for power plant.

Evacuation Infrastructure

Developer must construct power transmission network from power plant to STU at own cost. After construction of network developer must hand over it to APTRANSCO.

Land use

• Land can be used for other purpose apart from farming.
• NOC from pollution control board are not required.

Incentive for manufacturing plant

• Exempted from electricity duty for 10 years.
• Industries promotion policy can be availed.
• Nodal agency will support in co-ordination with other department.
