• The Ministry of Shipping/State Government/State Maritime Board - provide access to port or port like facilities with sufficient infrastructural facilities.

• The policy also covers the duties of the monitoring and implementing agencies, elements of development of offshore wind energy, clearance/NOC requirements.

• Essential elements of development and clearances of offshore wind energy are provided in the policy document.

Central Transmission Utility (CTU) and/or State Transmission Utility (STU) will undertake onshore evacuation and grid-connectivity.

Government of India will review this policy as and when required in the event of any technological breakthrough or any change taking place in related policy or goals
